Property Description

clean basic rooms in the centre of Amsterdam...
The hotel is located at the Kerkstraat. It's a nice street in Amsterdam close to the lively square of Leidseplein.
The Location in is in the middle of center where many bars, restaurants and clubs are located!
Hostel Conditions
Please note that you must enter an arrival time, if you arrive later contact us by phone so we can hold your reservation!!! If we haven't heard from you before the inserted arrivaltime, we have the right to cancel your booking.
If you don't show, we have the right to charge you for one night. We take to money off the creditcard you used to make the booking.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The dorm rooms are simple with different numbers of beds in the different rooms. Each bedroom has a toilet and shower room attached to it. The quality of the showers are questionable, but they do normally work.
The rooms have lockers for each bed.
Common Spaces
The ground floor of the hostel consists of different common spaces. A 24 hours reception and free luggage room. Also a big chill area with bar and restaurant. There are no kitchens for personal cooking, but our restaurant offers meals for a normal price. There is also a disco downstairs that stays open till 3 or 4 in the morning. Also free internet is available in the basement.
There is a smoking area outside and inside the hostel. .
Summary
In short, this is a very good money for value hostel, and promises a very pleasant stay and a good and happy feeling for the duration of your stay. We would happily recommend it to anyone.

Buob stayed here on 14th August 2010 Hans brinker is a very nice budget hotel. Don't hesitate if you are not sure, the location is amazing (south of red light district, 5mn by foot), it's barely clean and the breakfast is "eatable"! If i go back to amsterdam, it would be the third time i would use Hans Brinker! |

Anke stayed here on 14th August 2010 Location was perfect, but the price (40 euro for 1 night and breakfast) was to high for this hotel. The new sheets were not clean, the receptionist was always bizzy. The normal breakfast was very poor. For special things like a pancake you have to pay extra. |

Jimmyd17 stayed here on 13th August 2010 No idea why they take pride in being a dirty, very little maintenance, do-nothing hotel... All the sheets are stained, the lockers are grubby, the bathrooms are all-in-all a terrible experience. The shower is an actual stream, not unlike that of a tiny water gun. I enjoyed their happy hour 50% off drinks though. Other than that, I'd suggest you stick around at a local coffee shop and take advantage of what makes Amsterdam... Amsterdam. |

Mehow stayed here on 13th August 2010 The location of the Hostel is really great. Very close to the center where all the bars are but on a side street that it is a bit quiet. The hostel might not be the cleanest (at least in apperance) but you get clean sheets, a towel all included. The lockers are not in the best shape but there are safety deposit boxes as well. I don't think you'll get much better for the price |
