Property Description
The Marnix Hotel is a two stars hotel located in the heart center of Amsterdam next to the famous Leidseplein (Leidse Square), the hotspot of nightlife in Amsterdam with many bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants in the direct area (standing in front of the entrance you can already see 5 bars and a coffee shop).
Marnix Hotel runs it with very low prices for the coming period. We believe you should not spend too much on accommodation while you only need a suitable place to store your belongings safely and spend your nights in Amsterdam. Besides our private rooms, we offer hostel beds for travellers on a budget so that they too can enjoy the many things the city has to offer. Our rooms are not the biggest in Amsterdam, but we are confident that it will be more than adequate for your stay.
The Marnix hotel offers a nice and cozy lobby to spend some time while emailing your friends/family, reading or just watching TV. Our friendly receptionists will be more than happy to provide you with any tourist information and guide you to the city attractions. We also have different brochures to inform you about the many activities in and outside the city.

Please remember, this is a no smoking hotel. We have no problem of smoking outside or at the designated smoking area in the neighborhood, but please don't do it inside our hotel. As our guests have different sleeping times, please keep the noise down after 11.30 PM, basically we advice to 'party outside and relax inside'. Also, the prices mentioned are based on cash payment. If you choose to pay with credit card, then an additional service fee of 5% will be charged extra.

Bookings and cancellations:
The Marnix hotel does not charge you in advance.
Our cancellation policy dictates 48 hours advanced notification prior to arrival. Cancellation need to be done by e-mail. Cancellation by phone will not be accepted.
IMPORTANT: Our check-in desk will close at 21.00, but if you expect to check-in later than that, please notify us. Otherwise we can NOT guarantee that your room/bed will be available anymore.

They switched our room and then we were kept up all night from the neighbours banging on the walls. The showers flood and the hotel staff is not accomodating. We paid deposit on two keys, when we went to return them, they could not find our Euros and made us wait until they called every member of staff to ask if they had given us a key. They have rats!!!!! in hotel end in rooms!!!!
I stay in 65 room ....bad lack for me , i have to pay another 20 euro to stay to another hostel L...??? across the street.
afoul breakfast, I wanted to visit the Amsterdam , i was not interested in Coffeeshops ,if u are not living at home in a a very poor house, Do not go THERE!!!!!
