Euphemia Hotel is formerly a monastery built at the turn of the century. Euphemia Hotel is a one star hotel with BASIC facilities and a various room types: 4 person dorms, (mix boys and girls) triples, doubles and singles. It is in close proximity to all the main tourist attractions within the city centre. This includes the Heineken Brewery, Leidseplein, the museums and nightlife area. But due to its location on a quiet side street, one is able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

In the morning we serve a simple continental buffet breakfast from 8.00am to 11am at a price of €.5,- per person. We also have a vending machine at reception area and you can buy hot drinks at reception all day.

The lounge is open during reception hours (8am-11pm). Here you can spend your afternoon writing postcards, meeting other travellers, or watching TV.

IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING!!!
As of 1 July 2008, the hostel will become smoke free. Smoking will no longer be permitted in any of the rooms and canteen facilities

* Please make sure to print out your confirmation and bring with you to the hotel at arrival day.
* All rooms are non smoking!
* All dorms are mix boys and girls
* There is minimum stay of 2 nights on the weekends
* There is minimum stay of 4 or 5 nights on the holidays, please check before you reserve
* The reception closes after 23.00. If you have any kind of delay and you are going to arrive after 23.00 you must notify the hotel on the same day by phone to arrange a late arrival.
* Cancellations are required to be faxed or e-mailed to the Euphemia Hotel 24 hours prior to arrival date (NOT ARRIVAL TIME). Failure to do so will result in a one night no show fee, which will be charged to the given credit card. The 10% deposit is charged by Hostel World is a commission and it is not refundable.
* All remaining payments must be made on arrival. Cancellations upon arrival will result in FULL payment.
* Booking conditions for the holidays(Easter, New Year, Queens Birthday, Pinkster and special events): all cancellations are required to be faxed or e-mailed to the Euphemia Hotel 3 x WEEKS prior to ARRIVAL DATE. Failure to do so will result in a 50% fee, which will be charged to the given credit card.
Upon arrival payments must be in advance. Cancellation upon arrival will result in FULL payment.
* We ask authorisation on the given credit card, the reservation will be terminated if there is no authorisation.
* In order to reserve we require credit cards no debit cards! At arrival it is possible to pay with debit card, there is a 5% surcharge when paying with all cards.
